Budapest, Hungary

Each year I have the privilege of joining the national Royal Rangers leaders from the 22 nations in Europe at their annual EuroLeaders Conference. This was the 12 th such conference and it was held in Budapest, Hungary.

It is encouraging the see the Royal Rangers growing in unity of purpose and vision. The leaders in Europe have done a great job of reaching the lost.

Here are a few highlights from Europe:

• The nation with the most Royal Rangers, outside the USA, is in Europe— Germany.

• The largest Royal Rangers outpost in the world is found in Europe— Stuttgart, Germany with just over 1,000 members.

• The EuroCamp is held every four years and draws between 4,000 and 8,000 Royal Rangers in attendance from all over Europe and beyond.

• The Xtreme Euro Dream is a high adventure activity held each year some place in Europe. The last one was in Sweden. Over 100 Rangers participated and were divided into teams. Each team build their own “Tom Sawyer-like” raft and drifted nearly 70 miles down the river.

These are just a few of the exciting things that are happening in Europe. God has raised-up some excellent leaders who are reaching, teaching, and keeping young people for Jesus Christ!
